WHAT ARE K-TIP EXTENSIONS?

K-Tips are individual strands of hair bonded to the natural hair with keratin. Because they are applied strand by strand, they allow for far greater control in density match, placement, movement, and blend than any other extension method.

When done correctly, K-Tips have the power to create the ultimate transformation. Whether through a seamless texture and color match using our coveted, ethically sourced single donor hair, or through intentional texture and color manipulation to create the look of fuller, denser, brighter hair without adding more weight than the natural hair can support or relying on harsh chemicals such as bleach, the result is highly customized, believable, and built with the health of the hair in mind.

Every transformation is built around what the natural hair can support, then refined through careful decisions in source material, texture, color, and installation. Every transformation is custom built around the client in front of us. Hair history, current condition, lifestyle, goals, maintenance capacity, and overall complexity all shape the recommendation, the method, and the final scope of work.

For that reason, we do not offer direct booking or fixed service pricing. We begin with a discovery form so Ester can personally review whether the service is the right fit, whether it will genuinely benefit the client, and whether the result can be achieved while preserving the health of the hair.

With more than 1,500 K-Tip installs completed, she built her reputation by approaching the work differently, independently sourcing hair, working across diverse textures, and treating each transformation as a highly individualized composition rather than a standard extension service.

Booking with a junior stylist is a great option if you're earlier in your hair journey or working with a different budget without compromising on the quality of the install.

What does the $250 consultation fee cover? +

The consultation fee is your first step toward your transformation — and it is fully credited toward your installation. During your private virtual consultation with Ester, you will get a complete walkthrough of the bonding science, aftercare, and a fully custom color, density, and placement strategy built around your specific goals. You leave with a personalized investment quote and a clear picture of exactly what your hair will look like.

How much does a K-tip installation cost? +

Installations with Ester typically range from $4,500 – $7,500+. Installations with one of our junior in-house stylists range from $3,000 – $4,000. Your exact investment is determined during your consultation based on your goals and complexity.

How far out do you book? +

We operate on a rolling 90-day calendar — we do not book far in advance intentionally. If your dream hair day is more than three months away, hold off on applying until you are within that window. This keeps our schedule tight and ensures every client gets our full, dedicated attention.

What happens after my consultation? +

Your installation typically takes place two to eight weeks after your consultation. We keep that window short on purpose. Color, texture, and length matching is done in-studio together so there is no guesswork — you are part of the process from start to finish.

What if I don't hear back after submitting my application? +

If you do not receive a scheduling invitation, it simply means our current cycle is at capacity or K-tips are not the right fit for your hair at this time. We review every application with care and will always be transparent about candidacy.

Why can't I just book an appointment directly? +

Because your hair deserves more than a slot on a calendar. The application allows Ester to review your hair history, lifestyle, and goals before anything else — so that by the time you sit in the chair, every decision has already been made with your specific hair in mind. K-tips are not right for everyone, and we would rather tell you that upfront than waste your time or compromise your hair health.
