(BEHIND THE BRAND)
Before any of this, I spent years as a licensed substance abuse specialist, studying how people think, what they actually need, and what real change looks like. In 2018, pregnant with my first child, I walked away from that career and into something I couldn't explain yet but couldn't ignore either.
The moment I finished my first K-tip install and watched a client walk out of my chair a different version of herself, I was done. That was it. I understood exactly what I was supposed to be doing.
That psychology background never left me. It shapes every consultation I run, every course I've built, and the way I show up for every single person who trusts me with their hair or their education. I've never been that interested in just teaching people what to do. I've always been more interested in teaching them how to think.

When I started in extensions, the education out there was fragmented, gatekept, and almost entirely about technique, nothing about sourcing, nothing about client workflow, nothing about building a business that doesn't burn you out. So I built it myself.
The industry told me, told all of us, that the only way to be successful is to be double-booked, on your feet all day, constantly available, constantly grinding. I fundamentally disagree with that. I built a completely different model and I've spent years proving it works.
Through the HBE Method, The Blueprint and The Artistry, I've trained hundreds of stylists nationwide not just in K-tip technique, but in sourcing strategy, client consultation, pricing, and the business systems that actually give you your life back.
I created methods that don't exist anywhere else, including my five ponytail system and advanced texture and color manipulation techniques that let you build fully bespoke, customized installs without chemicals. I'm a forever student. Everything I learn, I update and bring back to my students. And when you walk into one of my classes, I already know your name. That's not an accident.
That's intentional.
Every ponytail we source for HBE Haus of Hair is single, donor Slavic hair. One donor. One texture. One porosity. Cuticle intact and aligned from root to tip. No acid baths. No silicone coating. No processing to fake quality that isn't there. The hair moves, blends, and wears exactly the way it did on the donor because we never stripped it of what made it exceptional in the first place.
We drop ten ponytails every Wednesday at 12 PM EST. Each one is photographed, documented, and catalogued with its own unique texture and porosity profile. Once it's gone, it's gone, you cannot get that exact ponytail again until that donor grows it back out, which takes three to five years. This is not a product line. It is a curated archive.
For my students, the hair is the other half of the education. You can learn every technique I teach, the Blueprint, the Artistry, the five ponytail method, and still fall short if you're working with hair that fights you. The right hair is what makes a bespoke transformation actually bespoke. It's what allows your clients to leave the chair and have strangers stop them on the street. It's what keeps them coming back. And it's what builds the kind of reputation that outlasts any trend.
A career built on the right hair and the right education is a career that compounds. Your clients trust you more. Your results speak louder. Your standard becomes the reason people fly to sit in your chair.
That is the legacy I am building. And it is the one I want to help you build too.
